Words Can Kill is a series of posters campaigning the theme of verbal abuse. Verbal abuse refers to insulting, cursing and bullying with words that cause mental and emotional distress. According to research, there is a large number of people that commit suicide each year because of perennial verbal violence, mostly amongst teenagers and young adults. Words Can Kill intends to bring awareness to this social problem.

Images of a gun, blade and hanging rope can be recognized in the posters, and are filled up with negative words. They symbolize the invisible harm of verbal abuse and intend to drive people's attention. In terms of color palette, pure red, white and black were used to create a visually depressive atmosphere.
